Hello Terry!!!
I just wanted to write to you while I have a chance. I've been
very busy lately so I apologize for the delay of an update.
"Domino" our little black and white Malt-Tzu is amazing! He has
the best personality and I can definitely tell you raise your
puppies with a lot of love. He is very friendly and was potty
trained within about a week. These past few months with him have
been a lot of fun. He loves to cuddle and he has become very
attached to Taz, our Shit-Tzu. They dont like to be out of
each other's sight and they play continuously.
I cant thank you enough for taking such great care of him during
those first few months of his life, he is definitely a joy to
have and he brightens our day when we come home.
Thanks again for everything and we will keep in touch,
Jessica and Mari

A word from a Malt-Shi owner:
 Hi
Terry,
Sarah (or as we know her, Chloe) is doing great! She is an absolute joy and
has brought so much laughter and fun to our house. I bring her to work with
me everyday (actually, she pretty much goes everywhere with me) and she is a
hit with everyone. She has the sweetest disposition and is really smart and
has been easy to train. Here's a few pictures of her first boat ride, her
first bath, etc. Thanks so much for the obvious love and care you gave
her the first few months of her life. I would highly recommend this breed!
Take care, -Caroline

Morkies
A
Morkie / Yorktese is a combination of a pure bred Yorkshire Terrier and a purebred Maltese. These two dogs are
very similar in size, hair, grooming requirements, etc. A Yorktese can have
a lot of different looks as you can see here and on my
"reference page". Putting the two
purebred dogs together makes not only a very precious, loving, little pet, but
also makes for less health problems than is associated with the pure breed dog.
Our next Morkie babies are due the first part of August,
ready to go in
mid-October.
We already have two deposits on these upcoming babies.
Little Bit, the mom, looks like she will have 4 to 5 babies.
 My
"reference page" will show you
some pictures of what the Morkies below might possibly look like. If either parent is not a purebred,
then it is not a "true" Morkie or Yorktese.
Please note that the registries
actually call this mix a Malkie for some reason!
Oliver (pictured above to the right
and the left,) is "perfect" according to his
family!
A note from one of my Morkie owners:
Hi Terry,
Hope you and your family are doing well. It's been almost three months since
little Anakin came into our lives. I would just like to thank you for raising
such wonderful, playful and well trained puppies.
When we first drove him home I was nervous that he would be
scared due to the change in
environment.
Was I wrong BIG TIME!! The moment I carried him into the house, put him on the
floor he surveyed the room for a moment then he was off and running around. Me
and my parents were so surprised he was so easy going and playful. He loves
attention and since he's the only pet we have he's getting just what he wants.
Since we're in Michigan I didn't want to subject him to the
cold weather to potty so I have him going on the puppy pads. He took to them
right away, even when we moved them gradually, he's such a smart learner.
I found a terrific vet that's 10 minutes away. The first one
I took him too didn't seem very pleasant so after that visit my search was on.
My second choice has wonderful vets and they're assistants are just as
wonderful. They know him as soon as we walk through the door and they think
he's so cute. He's received all of his shots for this year and he's doing
really well, he's at 5 1/2 lbs. He just learned to go up and down the stairs
within the past few weeks so now he thinks he can go up and down whenever he
feels like it.
I'm attaching some photos of him. They're not the most recent but he still
looks the same except he's a little taller. Thanks so very much for this little
guy.

my cats who seem to think they are also dogs. Deposits are non refundable

plenty of notice.more

My puppies are sold with the
limited registration with a spay or neuter agreement unless special permission is
given. I never give breeding rights with very small females who are 6 lbs or under,
full grown. Corresponding with you concerning your family and how the puppy will fit into
your home is very important to me.
Thanks, Terry

Shipping:
Shipping by Air is done with
Pet Air. They are a company that specializes in just shipping pets. Shipping is
$300.
The reason that I use Pet Air rather then making my own shipping arrangements is
that I have found that a company like Pet Air as compared to an individual can
better get the airlines to do the best for the puppy. Sorry to say, many
airlines are not courteous or helpful to an individual, but they will help a
company who has the option of pulling much more business from them should they
decide that the airline is not helpful with the shipping of pets. If there
are plane cancellations, delays, or changes that need to be made, Pet Air has
the resources to make these changes quicker and easier then an individual might
have.
Shipping is $300 which
includes the airfare, Pet Air's fare, the special crate needed, the cost of
mailing the papers for the puppy, and other misc. cost associated with shipping
the puppy.
The timing for when I let the puppy go by shipping will be based on the age,
breed, and size of the puppy. Weather plays a big part in the air shipping of a
puppy. There may be times in mid summer or mid winter when the shipping is
changed or delayed due to bad or extreme weather. Pet Air does what ever
needs to be done to best assure the safety of the puppy.
I will try to accommodate you the best I can with the shipping, but the overall
decision when to ship the puppy will be my decision based
on the health, safety, and best interest of the puppy.

Crate Training:
Crate training can be great
for teaching your puppy to sleep in a crate at night or to use for very small
periods of time during the day. But PLEASE do not put your puppy in a crate all
day while you are at work, only to let him out for a few house in the afternoon
and evening, then put him or her back in the crate for all night. Even if
you are able to take your dog out of the crate once or twice a day during the
day, this is not the proper place for your puppy or dog to spend the
majority of their daytime hours. We would not like to be locked in a room with
just enough room to move around in and sleep in for the majority of each 24 hour period.
Our puppies and dogs don't like that much either. Knowing how much puppies and
dogs like to play and need room to play, I feel that this can be very cruel to a
puppy or dog. I will not knowingly sell a puppy to someone who plans on using a
crate both day and night for their young puppy or older dog.
I suggest using a baby gate and
gating off an area such as a large bathroom or a utility room in order to give
the puppy limited space while allowing the puppy to have room to play, toys to
play with an open crate with bedding for sleeping (the front gate off the crate)
and puppy pads, a doggie litter box, or my preference, newspapers, in case the
puppy HAS TO GO before someone lets him or her outside. Some puppies (just like
children) take time to learn to "hold" it until "mom or dad" comes to take them
out. There are also very nice puppy playpens for dogs that also give more
room for play while keeping them in a relatively small small area. The two
ex-pens pictured here can be purchased at:
